~Biscuit~ Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons shortening |
1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats |
1 farm fresh egg,beaten |
1/3 cup raw milk |
2 tablespoons honey,collected this year |
Directions:
1. In bowl,stir in the flour ,baking powder,and salt,very thoroughly. 2. Cut in the shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 3. Stir in Oats. 4. Combine egg,milk,and honey. 5. Add to dry mixture,stir Just until moistened. 6. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet. 7. Bake at 424 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. 8. Butter,and serve. |
