This recipe is a balance of starch, protein, dairy and fruit. A wonderful combination and taste for the morning. Ingredients:
1/4 cup oatmeal, 5 minute, uncooked |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon flax seed, grounded |
1/4 cup fruit (any kind) |
1 pinch cinnamon |
1/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Cook the oatmeal as per package directions. Place fruit in bowl. Add oatmeal, flaxseeds, milk. Stir ingredients together. Top with cinnamon. |
