Makes a great snack, a quasi-healthy dessert, or a perfect gift for a good friend. Ingredients:
4 cups quick-cooking oats |
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts |
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 cup coconut |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, melted |
3/4 cup orange marmalade |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Grease 15- x 10- x 1-inch baking pan. 3. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. 4. Press in greased pan. 5. Bake at 400 degrees F. 6. for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. 7. Cool completely; cut into bars. |
