Oatmeal Cookies - No Fat And Yummy |

I found this recipe on a box of McCann's Quick Cooking Oatmeal and as usual, tweeked it my way! Ingredients:
2 c. quick cooking oatmeal |
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed |
1 egg or egg substitute |
4 t. unsweetened applesauce |
2 t. pure maple syrup |
1/2 c. toasted chopped walnuts, chopped chocolate, raisins or all the above |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets 3. Mix oatmeal and sugar in bowl, breaking up any lumps 4. Add egg, applesauce & maple syrup & mix well. Let soak for approx. 5. 15 min. 6. Place teaspoons of mixture on prepared sheets & press each mound into 3 round w/fork dipped in water. 7. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 min. until golden brown. 8. Let cool for a few minutes & transfer to wire rack to cool. 9. Store in airtight container |
