I haven't tried these yet, they are suppose to be a lighter version of Betty Crocker's oatmeal cookies. Ingredients:
1/4 cup honey |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 1/2 tablespoons butter |
2 1/2 tablespoons applesauce |
1 egg |
1/3 cup molasses |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
1 cup raisins (optional) |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional) |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, sugar, egg, applesauce, and honey. 2. Mix in molasses until smooth. 3. Add spices, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour. Mix well with hand mixer. 4. Add in oatmeal. Stir in well. You may want to add more, I'm not sure of the consistency yet. 5. Add in any extra items. 6. Place on a greased cookie sheet. 7. Bake 8-12 minutes at 350. |
