Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 large egg |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup uncooked regular oats |
1 cup crisp rice cereal |
1/2 cup flaked coconut |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add egg, beating until blended. 2. Add flour and next 4 ingredients, beating until blended. Stir in rice cereal, coconut, and pecans. 3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. 4. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned; remove to wire racks to cool. |
