This recipe has been in our family for SEVERAL generations & it is one of our favorites. It's very basic but very good. It is a crispier cookie though..just so you know-lol
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon molasses
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 cups quick oats
1 cup nuts
2/3 cup raisins
1/2 cup chocolate piece
Directions:
1. Stir together butter & sugar; add eggs, molasses, & vanilla.
2. Combine flour, cinnamon, & baking soda;gradually add to mixture.
3. Stir in oats, raisins, nuts & chocolate pieces.
4. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 350 degrees in oven for 12 minutes or until light brown.
