This recipe has been in our family for SEVERAL generations & it is one of our favorites. It's very basic but very good. It is a crispier cookie though..just so you know-lol Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon molasses |
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract |
2 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
2 cups quick oats |
1 cup nuts |
2/3 cup raisins |
1/2 cup chocolate piece |
Directions:
1. Stir together butter & sugar; add eggs, molasses, & vanilla. 2. Combine flour, cinnamon, & baking soda;gradually add to mixture. 3. Stir in oats, raisins, nuts & chocolate pieces. 4. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Bake at 350 degrees in oven for 12 minutes or until light brown. |
