A soft chewy cookie, a family favorite. I try other recipes but always go back to this one. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups margarine |
2 1/4 cups brown sugar |
3/4 cup white sugar |
3 eggs (beaten) |
3 tablespoons water |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 1/2 cups rolled oats |
3 cups chocolate chips or 3 cups walnuts (or 1/2 of each) |
Directions:
1. Cream marg and sugars throughly, stir in beaten eaggs, water and vanilla. 2. Add dry ingredients and then the rolled oates and the chocolate chips/nuts. 3. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. 4. Bake 350 12-15 minutes. |
