These are healthy cookies that taste great! I try to keep my cookies low sugar, higher in protein and with whole grains for a good balance. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup honey |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup protein powder (used soy) |
3/4 cup flour |
3/4 cup quick oats |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/3 cup raisins |
1/3 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Separately, combine the next 5 ingredients in a smaller bowl. Stir to mix dry ingredients completely. 2. Add dry ingredients to wet and stir until combined. Finally, add in raisins and chocolate chips. 3. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto greased cookie sheet and put in 350°F oven. Bake 8-10 minuted until golden on top. |
