This are very good. I like that it only makes a few cookies. The perfect amount actually Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening |
1 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon molasses |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup flour |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. 1. In a large bowl, cream together shortening and sugar. Beat in the molasses, egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. 2. 2. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes then remove to wire rack to cool completely. |
