This was a recipe I got from an old high-school friend. These cookies are perfect for fall and the cinnamon and oatmeal smell will fill your entire house while you are cooking them! Ingredients:
3 cups flour, preferably half whole wheat and half white |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 1/4 cups milk |
1 cup oil |
3/4 cup white sugar |
1 cup packed brown sugar |
4 cups uncooked oatmeal |
2 eggs or 4 egg whites |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup butterscotch chips |
1 cup raisins or 1 cup craisins |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat over to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease a large cookie sheet. 3. Combine all of the above ingredients in a large bowl. 4. Form small balls out of the mixture and place on the cookie sheet. 5. Bake until golden brown. |
