Homemade breakfast bars Ingredients:
4 cups quick-cooking oats |
1 cup packed brown sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup peanut butter chips |
3/4 cups butter or margarine |
3/4 cup orange marmalade |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Press into a greased 15-in. x 10-in.x 1-in. baking pan. (large bar pan). Bake at 425 for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: about 2-1/2 dozen.. |
