Oatmeal Biscuits

Breakfast to go that pairs well with fruit & yogurt or various toppings.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Combine first five ingredients in a bowl.
3. Cut in shortening.
4. Add oats.
5. Add milk combine until all is moistened (use your hands if you need to).
6. Quickly shape into small (2 ) patties and place onto an ungreased baking sheet.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
