This is a sort of healthy snack with grains and nuts easily made. Ingredients:
1/3 cup of honey |
2 egg whites |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups uncooked quick oats |
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine honey, egg whites, cinnamon, and salt in large bowl; mix well. 3. Add oats and toasted almonds; mix well. 4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased nonstick cooking sheet. 5. Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned. 6. Remove to wire rack to cool. |
