Diabetic friendly Ingredients:
1/2 c shortening |
3/4 c splenda brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tsp vanilla |
1-1/4 c flour |
1 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 c nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc, your choice), optional |
4 c cereal flakes (special k, non frosted flakes) |
Directions:
1. In a bowl combine flour, powder, salt 2. In another bowl, combine shortening, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mix well. 3. Combine dry ingredients into wet ingredients, mix well 4. Add nuts and cereal 5. Drop by tspful, 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet 6. Bake 8-10 mins at 375 or until golden brown |
