Very easy to make. A delicious change from the ordinary. Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup quick oats |
1 cup flour |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant coconut cream pudding mix |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cream shortning and sugar. 2. Add egg; mix well. 3. Combine dry ingredients. 4. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. 5. Roll into 1 inch balls. 6. Place on kightly greased baking sheet. 7. Flatten with a fork. 8. Bake at 350* for 11 minutes, until edges begin to brown. 9. Cool on wire racks. |
