Oat bran adds fibre to this delicious bread. You may leave out the gluten but the bread will be denser. Makes a 2 lb. loaf. Recipe from Donna German. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups water |
2 1/2 tablespoons butter or 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup oat bran |
2/3 cup oats |
3 cups bread flour |
2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten (optional) |
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to bread machine pan in order given, or according to your machine instructions. 2. Set on whole wheat cycle. |
