Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
2/3 cup packed brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 (10 ounce) jar 100% cherry fruit spread or 1 (10 ounce) jar strawberry all-fruit spread or 1 (10 ounce) jar raspberry spreadable fruit |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt; stir in butter. 2. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping. 3. Pat remaining oat mixture into a 9 inch square pan coated with nonstick spray. 4. Bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes. 5. Spread with fruit spread. 6. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. 7. Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. 8. Cool on wire rack. |
