For when your feeling nutty Ingredients:
1/2 cup honey |
1/2 cup all natural peanut butter |
2 tbsp. maple syrup |
1 tbsp canola oil |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 tsp. cinnamon |
1 tsp. vanilla |
2 cups of rolled oats |
2 cups brown rice cereal |
1/2 cup unsalted dry roasted peanuts |
dried apricots and figs. any dried fruit works |
1/4 cup wheat germ |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Over medium heat add honey, peanut butter, maple syrup, oil, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to sauce pan. 2. Stirring often melt ingredients together, be careful not to burn it. 3. Let bubble on low heat, meanwhile add remaining ingredients in separate bowl and toss. 4. Add peanut butter mixture to oat mixture. 5. Fold ingredients together. 6. Put into 9x13 glass baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. 7. press into dish 8. put in fridge for 30 minutes. 9. Remove and cut into bars. Individually wrap 10. Store in fridge for a week or freezer for a month |
