My mom use to let my sister and I make these.. they were always a fav. around our house. Ingredients:
1c karo syrup |
1c sugar |
4c rice krispies |
1 1/2 c crunchy peanut butter |
1/2c buttercotch chips |
1/2c chocolate chips |
9x13 pan buttered or sprayed with pam |
Directions:
1. Measure and have all ingredients ready before beginning preparation 2. Heat syrup and sugar to boiling 3. pour over and mix into Rice Krispies 4. in large bowl add peanut butter to above mixture and mix well 5. put into shallow pan with smooth surface 6. press down into pan 7. Topping 8. In separate pan over low heat 9. melt buttercoth and chocolate chips until smooth 10. pour over rice krispie mixture 11. allow to cool and cut into squares 12. enjoy! |
