A slightly sweet, mostly savory cheese spread incorporating nuts and dried fruit. Ingredients:
2 c grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 c finely chopped, toasted and skinned hazelnuts |
1/2 c finely diced dried fruit (apples, apricots, raisins, pears, cherries) |
1/2 c nonalcoholic cider |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, blend all ingredients together well. 2. Refrigerate for up to one week, but serve at room temperature. |
