Toss these bread crumbs with green vegetables, root vegetables, or pasta. Ingredients:
2 cups coarse fresh bread crumbs (preferably from a baguette) |
1/4 cup nut oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F with rack in upper third. 2. Bake bread crumbs in a shallow baking pan until golden, about 10 minutes. Toss with oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. |
