This sounds delicious for the holidays and as a food gift for during that time. From Heavenly Hash. Preparation time does not include cooling time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1 cup finely crushed peppermint candies or 1 cup candy cane |
6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, melted |
1 cup nuts, chopped coarsely |
Directions:
1. In bowl, mix well crumbs and crushed candies. 2. Add butter and toss until well mixed. 3. Stir in nuts. 4. Spread evenly in greased 15x10 inch jelly roll pan and press firmly. 5. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 10-12 minutes, or until melted and bubbly. 6. Cool completely. 7. Break into pieces. 8. Store in open container. 9. Will keep 2 months. |
