Nutty Peanut Butter Cookies |

The prefect cookie for your kids and a holiday cookie swap. I found this in Southern Living magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 cup creamy peanut butter |
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar |
1 eggland's best large white egg |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 cup chopped peanuts |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Whisk together first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Stir in peanuts and vanilla. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets. 3. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned. Cool on pan on a wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack, and cool 5 minutes. Serve warm or cool completely. |
