Very rich very creamy and very nutty candy sure to please all. I make this during the holidays and it never lasts long. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup blanched and roasted almonds |
2 tablespoons marshmallow cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
4 tablespoons grated unsweetened chocolate |
24 marshmallows |
1 cup cream |
Directions:
1. Combine chocolate and sugar then add cream and butter. 2. Boil to soft ball stage then remove from fire. 3. Add marshmallow cream, nuts and flavoring. 4. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. 5. Place marshmallows on well buttered dish evenly. 6. Pour mixture over marshmallows then allow to cool and cut in squares. |
