This is a recipe I learned in my middle school home economics class. It has been a favorite of mine since then. It's super simple and very yummy (and very sweet). Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup light corn syrup |
1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy your choice) |
2 cups chow mein noodles |
Directions:
1. In a large sauce pan mix sugar and syrup, bring to a boil, then turn off heat and stir in peanut butter until combined well. 2. Stir in chow mein noodles. 3. spoon portions of about 1 teaspoon (or size desired) on to wax paper to cool. 4. Enjoy! |
