Ingredients:
2 1oz squares unsweetened chocolate |
1/2 cup(s) butter/margarine |
1/2 cup(s) butter/margarine, melted |
32 cream filled chocolate sandwich cookies |
1 1/3 cup(s) evaporate milk |
1.5 cup(s) sugar |
toasted chopped pecans |
1/2 gallon(s) vanilla ice cream, softened |
Directions:
1. Crush half of cookies in food processor. Repeat for other half. 2. Combine crumbs and melted butter. Firmly press on bottom and 2" up side of 9" springform pan. Freeze 1 hour. 3. Spread ice cream into pan. Cover and freeze til firm. 4. Combine chocolate and next 3 ingredients in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, til mixture comes to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook 8 min. Remove from heat and cool. 5. Spread half chocolate mixture over ice cream. Freeze til firm. 6. Spread remaining chocolate mixture and garnish with nuts if desired. Freeze til firm. |
