This recipe was printed from a Pillsbury Classic cookbook. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/4 cup margarine |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
6 -8 tablespoons cold water |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Lightly grease cookie sheets. 3. Lightly spoon flour nto measuring cup; level off. 4. In medium bowl, cut margarine into flour untl mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cheese, sunflower seeds and Worchestershire sauce. 5. Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time, while tossing and mixing lightly with fork. 6. Add water until dough is just moist enough to form a ball when lightly pressed together. 7. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness. 8. Cut into desired shapes with lightly floured 2 inch cookie cutters. 9. Place 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets. 10. Bake at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. 11. Remove from cookie sheets; cool thoroughly. |
