I got this recipe from a kiosk at our grocery store - recipe is courtesy of Skippy(r). Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter of your choice |
8 hot cooked pancakes |
2 medium bananas, halved lengthwise, then crosswise |
Directions:
1. Prepare pancakes according to package directions or use your own favorite recipe. 2. Evenly spread peanut butter on hot pancakes, then top with cut up bananas; roll up. Serve cut pieces with maple syrup if desired. 3. VARIATIONS: 4. Apple Cinnamon - stir 1/4 cup applesauce and 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon into peanut butter 5. Cinnamon - stir 1/2 tsp. cinnamon into peanut butter 6. Chocolate Chip - stir 1/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips into peanut butter (can also mix into pancake batter and cook) 7. Cinnamon Raisin - Stir i1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and 1/2 c raisins into peanut butter. |
