This is a very moist and very tasty banana bread. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter |
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
1-1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas |
2 eggs well beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups sifted flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup buttermilk |
3/4 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar then blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla. 2. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. 3. Add flour mixture to banana mixture alternately with buttermilk then add nuts. 4. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. |
