I made this recipe myself. Tweek the amounts and measured ingredients to suite your taste. Ingredients:
1 apple, cored and sliced (peeled if desired) |
1/2-1 c. romaine lettuce, chopped |
1/8-1/4 c. walnuts, grated/chopped |
1 banana, sliced (optional) |
1 tbsp. desired dressing (vinegarette recommended) |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, put in lettuce. 2. If desired, chop/dice the apple slices. Put on top of lettuce. 3. Put desired amount of walnuts in bowl. If desired, mix in banana slices. 4. Toss salad or mix with salad tongs. 5. Pour desired dressing, if wanted, (>=1 Tbsp.) over salad. |
