This recipe is a healthy version of a chocolate souffle, baking time will vary... if you like the inside runny; baking time will be around 10 minutes, otherwise it needs to bake 15-20 minutes. Great for a healthy breakfast. Any nuts can be used if there is no pistachios available: almonds, macadamia nuts, peanuts, hazelnuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, pine nuts, brazil nuts, even chestnuts :-) I prefer to use a 2-cup (16oz.) ramekin for the recipe.
Ingredients:
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 cup oat bran
1/2 cup almonds, ground
2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1. Beat the egg until foamy, for 4-5 minutes.
2. Add the remaining ingredients.
3. Bake at 375F for 10 minutes for a soft version and 15-20 minutes for a fully baked version.
