Betcha can't eat just one! Keep these in a tightly sealed container. Ingredients:
1 cup raw pecans |
1 cup raw walnuts |
1 cup whole almond |
5 tablespoons peanut oil (canola works too) |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
3/4 teaspoon sea salt or 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Place the nuts in a zip lock bag along with the oil, and shake them up to coat well. 3. In a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. 4. Open the bag and pour the nuts out into the spice mix, stirring until very well coated. 5. Spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet or sheets. 6. Bake about 10 minutes until nuts are lightly golden and roasted. 7. Cool to room temperature. |
