Rich bars like the candy bar Ingredients:
12 oz chocolate chips |
12 oz butterscotch chips |
18 oz peanut butter |
16 oz dry roasted peanuts - or a little less depending on preference |
1 c butter |
1/4 c regular vanilla pudding mix - dry |
1/2 c milk |
2 lbs (1 bag usually) powdered sugar |
2 tsp maple flavoring |
Directions:
1. Melt together the chocolate and butterscotch chips with peanut butter on top of stove. 2. Put 1/2 of mixture into a jelly-roll pan - wider cookie sheet with edge. 3. Refrigerate. 4. To the other half, add the peanuts and set aside. 5. Combine butter, dry pudding mix and milk and boil 1 minute. 6. Remove from heat and add powder sugar and maple flavoring. 7. Beat and spread on top of first layer. 8. Cool in refrigerator. 9. Spread remainder of chocolate peanut mixture on top. 10. Keep in refrigerator, can be frozen. 11. I have doubled the chocolate/butterscotch and peanut butter parts for extra thick chocolate sections. |
