The spicy sweet taste of sauce compensate with the outside crunch of the grainy potato. Ingredients:

ingredients |
400 grams potato, peeled |
2 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese |
3 tbsp flour |
1 pc egg, beaten |
2 tbsp japanese bread crumbs combine with |
3 tbsp cashew nuts, chopped |
1 oil oil |
for sauces |
2 tbsp honey |
4 tbsp red bell pepper,concasse,minced/ or use canned pimiento |
1 small red chili, seeded and minced |
Directions:
1. Boil potato until soft and can easily be mash. 2. Mash potato and add cheese, mix until well combined. 3. Take a spoonful of mashed potato, dredge with flour, dip in egg, roll in mixture of breadcrumbs & nuts, and deep fry in hot oil. 4. When browned, remove in oil and pat dry in paper towels. Do the same with other croquets. 5. For sauce just mix all ingredients thoroughly and let rest in chiller for at least 20min to blend flavors. If you want less spicyness, lessen the amount of red chili. |
