I found this recipe in a cookbook years ago. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 1/4 cups milk |
3 cups bisquick |
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Grease a loaf pan, 9x5x3-inches. Mix sugar, egg, milk and bisquick. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Batter may still be slightly lumpy. Stir in nuts. 2. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45-50 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. (Crack in top is typical). Cool before slicing. |
