From Family Fun Magazine. Serve with Vietnamese Grilled Pork Meatballs. Ingredients:
1 garlic clove, minced |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/4 cup hot tap water |
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons asian fish sauce |
Directions:
1. Mash the garlic, surgar and red pepper flackes into a grainy paste on a small plate with the back of a fork. 2. Scape the paste into a small heat-prooof serving bowl. 3. Pour hot water over the mixture to dissolve the sugar. 4. Let it cool slightly, then stir in the lime juice and fish sauce. |
