Another recipe for the ingredient of the month... beer . I haven't tried this yet, so please let me know what you think! Makes one 1 1/2 lb. loaf Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup beer |
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine |
2 1/2 cups bread flour |
1/2 cup rye flour |
1 tablespoon gluten flour |
3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or 1 teaspoon bread machine yeast |
1/2 cup dark raisin |
Directions:
1. Add the ingredients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions. 2. Select the basic white bread cycle. |
