Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed |
2 large onions, chopped |
1 cup celery, sliced |
1 1/2 cups carrots, sliced |
6 cups beef stock |
salt and pepper |
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg |
3 tablespoons milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Add all vegetables to meat stock. Season to taste and simmer for one hour. 2. Combine beef, egg, milk and seasonings. Form into very small meatballs. 3. Drop meatballs into boiling soup and cook 10 to 15 minutes. |
