This recipe comes from the All Saints church cookbook from Cedar Rapids, Iowa Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 cup butter |
2 eggs |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
1/2 cup coconut |
1/2 cup nuts |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
1 tablespoon cream |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 lemon, juice and zest of |
Directions:
1. CRUST: Blend as for pie crust. 2. Pat into buttered 9x13 inch pan and bake until light brown in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes. 3. Cool FILLING: Mix ingredients well and pour over crust. 4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. 5. Will be very brown. 6. While warm frost. |
