Norwegian Curried Lamb

This is a great way to serve lamb. In my search for recipes from Norway I found this on the web. This is great served with white or brown rice and steamed carrots.
Ingredients:
3 lbs lamb, chunked
1/4 cup flour
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 large onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons curry powder
margarine for browning sauce
Directions:
1. Coat meat with flour. Saute garlic and onion in a small amount of margarine . Heat more more margarine in a heavy skillet and brown meat on all sides. Transfer to large pot. Add sauteed onions and garlic to pot. Season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Add 1 cup hot water and bring to a boil.Add more water if necessary to cover meat. Cover, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Check seasonings. It should be quite strong.
2. Serve hot.
