A BLEND OF BEAUTY ...TAKING THE POTATO AND CREATING A SPECTACULAR DISH THAT YOUR FRIENDS WILL SURELY BE IMPRESSED Ingredients:
6-8 yukon gold potatoes |
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes |
2 large onions |
2 cloves garlic |
salt and pepper to taste |
olive oil for saute |
1/2 stick butter |
Directions:
1. PEEL AND CUT POTATOES INTO WEDGES 2. TAKE A LARGE SAUTE PAN AND ADD ONIONS AND GARLIC IN 3. THE OLIVE OIL AND BUTTER 4. AFTER A FEW MINUTES ADD THE TOMATOES, SAUTE ALL FOR A FEW MOMENTS TIL THICKENED SLIGHTLY 5. ADD THE POTATOES TO THE PAN AND KEEP MOVING ALL FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT 5 MINUTES 6. INVERT INTO A NICE SIZED CASSEROLE DISH AND PLACE IN A PREHEATED350 DEGREE OVEN 7. COVER WITH FOIL 8. LAST 20 MINUTES REMOVE THE FOIL FOR A MORE INTENSE FLAVOUR 9. REMOVE, LET REST OR 'LET IT GO TO IT'S MOTHER' 10. ENJOY |
