Ingredients:
1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion
1/4 cup coarsely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
3/4 cup open pit barbecue sauce
2 cups water
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups cooked drained noodles (spaghetti or macaroni can be used)
Directions:
1. Saute vegetables in oil until tender. Add tomato paste, BBq sauce, water, sugar and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer about 20 minutes. Serve over noodles.
