From my collection of old recipes. Ingredients:
1/2 cup coarsely chopped onion |
1/4 cup coarsely chopped green pepper |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
3/4 cup open pit barbecue sauce |
2 cups water |
1 teaspoon sugar |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3 cups cooked drained noodles (spaghetti or macaroni can be used) |
Directions:
1. Saute vegetables in oil until tender. Add tomato paste, BBq sauce, water, sugar and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer about 20 minutes. Serve over noodles. |
