Really tasty, crunchy and different Ingredients:
2 heads romaine lettuce, torn |
1c. broccoli florets |
1/2 c. chopped green onions (optional) |
2 bagsoodles of noodles, broken (discard seasoning packet) |
1 stick butter or margerine |
1/2 c. sliced almonds |
1/2 c. sunflower seeds (shelled) |
dressing |
1 c. sugar |
1 c. olive or canola oil |
1/2 c. vinegar |
2 t. soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients for dressing in blender and blend for 2 or 3 minutes. Put aside. 2. Combine butter, nuts, and sunflower kernels in skillet and saute for about 5 minutes. Cool and combine with remaing ingredients and toss together with dressing right before serving. |
