Nonno's Wild Rice Stuffing |

Ingredients:
1/4 cup(s) butter |
3 cup(s) celery |
3 can(s) chicken broth |
1/2 cup(s) garlic |
1 package(s) giblets |
1 pound(s) mild italian sausage |
1 cup(s) mushrooms |
1 cup(s) onions |
1/3 cup(s) parsley |
salt and pepper |
1 package(s) wild rice (washed) |
Directions:
1. Boil giblets and keep stock. Saute onion and celery in 2 tbsp butter. Remove from pan. Add remaining butter to pan and saute mushrooms; remove. Brown and crumble sausage. Add all ingredients to stock pot. Steam mixture until wild rice pops open, adding stock and/or chicken broth gradually. You want only enough liquid to steam rice, so add slowing. |
