Tender, juicy chicken with vegetables and savory broth fit to serve over your favorite pasta. serving size=16 ounces Ingredients:
8 chicken breast, boneless skinless |
28 ounce diced tomatoes, including juice |
29 ounce chicken broth, fat free low soduim |
12 ounces canned mushrooms, or fresh mushrooms |
1 large green pepper(and/or red pepper), sliced |
1 sweet onion, sliced |
1 garlic powder, to taste |
1 freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in covered roaster and add rest of ingredients in order listed in recipe. Bake in 325 F. preheated oven (covered) for one hour. Reduce oven temperature to 300 F. and bake uncovered for two more hours. Serve on cooked linguine or your favorite pasta.
