Frugal Wellness blog. For spot cleaning around the house. Slightly revised. The original used Dr. Bronner's, but mixing Dr. B's with vinegar makes the soap break down into a mess. I had vinegar which I infused with orange and lemon peels. Smells better! I also used Tea Tree of an anti-bacterial addition.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons all-natural liquid soap
20 -30 drops essential oils
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, put 12 or more (however many fit into your container) cloths. The size is up to you, 6 or 12 is typical.
2. In a separate large bowl, mix the vinegar, water soap and oils. Add the baking soda carefully. It will fizz and fill up the bowl, so you need a really large bowl to contain it all. Stir gently. If it wants to overflow, put your hands on the top of the fizz and it will die down.
3. When it settles down, pour the liquid over the cloths and squeeze the cloths with your hands until all of the cloths are slightly damp, but that cannot be wrung out.
4. Put the cloths into your container and keep, sealed, wherever you need them - kitchen, bathroom etc.
