I make this to go along with my We want some figgy pudding We Want Some Figgy Pudding. It's creamy, salty and sweet(I love salty sweet foods).I usually double the recipe if I am making figgy pudding with it. Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar (10x very fine for icing) |
4 tablespoons butter |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/4 cup heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Sift powdered sugar and set aside.
2. Beat butter until soft.
3. Gradually beat in the sugar until well blended.
4. Beat in salt and vanilla.
5. Beat in heavy cream .
6. When sauce is very smooth chill thoroughly.
7. Serve.
