Hummus made with just lemon juice and olive oil, no tahini (sesame paste). Ingredients:
3 cups chick peas (two 16-oz cans) |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from one lemon) |
2 tbsp olive oil |
Directions:
1. Dump chick peas and lemon juice into blender or food processor. Puree. 2. Add olive oil gradually. 3. Optional: fresh garlic cloves, cumin. 4. Makes about five servings, 1/2 cup each. |
