Ingredients:
2 1/3 cup(s) all purpose flour |
1 teaspoon(s) almond extract |
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda |
1 cup(s) butter or margarine, softened |
colored sugars/cinnamon sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, beat sugar and butter on low speed or with spoon until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla, almond extract and egg. Stir in flour and baking soda. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls. On ungreased cookie sheet, place 2 inches apart. Flatten with bottom of glassed dipped in sugar mixture of your choice. Bake 9-11 min for soft cookies or until set. Increase cooking time to approx. 15 min for nice crisp "dipping" cookies. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. I bake mine on parchment paper. |
